Kutrix Gallery is an ephemeral gallery located in a building materials warehouse. A free, playful and emotional exhibition proposal, curated by Teresa Herrero and Ciuco Gutierrez.
The concept that guides its creators is the idea of combining creative synergies between design and art with the objective of presenting free, playful and emotional exhibition proposals. And to show it in a space where the creators' pieces dialogue with the “poor” materials, originating from the ship, to generate, over a weekend, a kind of illusion in which the emotional intangibles of creation activate new emotions in the spectator.
+Ke LIGHT brings together lamp designs by different authors and artists. The intention is to generate a double metaphorical function. On the one hand, activate the “sculptural” part of the designs by confronting them with the sordid place and its original content. And, on the other hand, to shed light on a space of desolation, of the transit of materials that are stored waiting to be transformed into desired and dreamed finishes.
