In 2015 DIMAD launched di_food, a project that unites gastronomy and design and opens a channel to innovation within these two disciplines.
Aiming to research into the relationships between design and gastronomy, DIMAD set up workshops, meetings, exhibitions, banquets and talks throughout the year, which attracted over 25,000 people (visitors and participants) to the different activities at Central de Diseño.

Exhibition “TAPAS. Spanish Design for Food”
In collaboration with AC/E (Acción Cultural Española), curated by the architect Juli Capella. It attracted over 25,000 people to Central de Diseño.
di_food Simposium
A meeting for designers, creatives and food_designers, who later presented and shared their experiences.
Big Food
A two-day event that united designers (graphic, textile, industrial, fashion, packaging, product, interior, service, web, etc.), chefs, caterers and producers.
